Rabbi Yaacov Haber has been a leading force in Jewish community and Jewish education for over forty years. He lived and taught in the United States, Australia and in Israel, serving as the National Director of Jewish Education for the Orthodox Union, the founder of the Australian Institute of Torah, the Torah Center of Buffalo, and is a founding member of AJOP (the Association of Jewish Outreach Professionals).  He is the author of several books including "Sefiros", "The First Ten Days", and "Beginnings" and is the Rabbi of the vibrant Kehillas Shivtei Yeshurun community in the center of Ramat Bet Shemesh, Israel.
