

Take Control of Your Day
You wake up to the alarm and need to hit snooze because you were up far too late the night before scrolling social media. So you get 10 minutes more and then you have to hit the ground running because you’re already behind schedule. Coffee, Shower, throw on some clothes, eat, perhaps get kids ready, school drop off, or commute to work - or whatever else you have to do. You come up for air you check email and then spend the next hour responding to everyone else’s needs/demands. The day has barely begun and you’re feeling rushed and overwhelmed and like your day is at the mercy of others. Sound familiar??
Perhaps we can run on adrenaline like this when we’re in our 20’s and 30’s (and to be honest i’m not convinced that there aren’t consequences to this even at that age), but we certainly can’t continue to operate this way in midlife and expect to be healthy and balanced and peaceful and productive.
