The Pentagon is calling on its civilian workforce to volunteer for temporary assignments supporting operations along the southern border. The program allows DoD civilians to be detailed to the Department of Homeland Security for up to six months filling critical support roles at the U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection facilities.
