On today’s HEALING 101, I am joined by Dr Brent Turnipseed, a board certified psychiatrist and co-founder of Roots Behavioural Health. He and his wife Andrea founded Roots with the initial goal of making psychiatric care more accessible. Roots behavioural health services include ketamine assisted psychotherapy, a ground breaking approach for the treatment of depression, anxiety and other serious conditions. As someone who has experienced psychedelic assisted therapy, I was so interested to learn more about the benefits and his advice for anyone interested in trying this form of therapy.
