#015 - Alison Watros
Early in her life, Alison Watros found herself living a life of addiction. She eventually took control of her own life and went through the twelve step program and sober living. This path ignited something in Alison that lead her to pursue her passions of helping other women through this very process. After a few years of sobriety, she returned to Dallas, where she began working with the local recovery community. She worked passionately to not only help women take back their lives, but also improve the systems and programs both locally and nation wide. In 2012, Alison opened up the first Windhaven House, support women on the path of recovery from substance abuse. A house that not only support women through their recovery, but supports their entire being of emotional, spiritual, and physical needs. Alison and her team continue to help women take back control of their life and give women all the resources possible for a successful path to recovery from addiction.
