Finally, be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength. As believers who love the Lord and who are standing for His testimony, we must not be ignorant of the schemes of God’s enemy in his attacks on the church. Allegorizing the Bible means to extract the spiritual meaning from the literal words of the Bible. Some people argue that it is wrong to allegorize any portion of the Bible that is not explicitly interpreted in the New Testament. However, throughout the centuries many reputable Bible teachers have recognized that many portions of the Scriptures symbolize spiritual truths, in addition to their literal meaning.
