Day five of the 'body under the staircase' murder trial of Richard Satchwell has heard that he only became a suspect in his wife Tina’s death when a new garda team took over the case four and a half years after she went missing.
Superintendent Ann Marie Twomey and Detective Sergeant David Kelleher gave evidence at the trial and told how they reviewed the investigation files and ultimately concluded that Tina had never left her home at Youghal in Cork alive and that her husband should be considered a suspect.
Nicola talks to Eamon Dillon, who is covering the murder trial.
