Nupur has several years of experience as an educator and has been a co-teacher working with Prachita years back, during her short stint as an educator. Nupur is also a mom and this makes her the perfect fit for this episode as she can be in both shoes, Parent and Educator 🙌😯
The three of us started talking about our respective student life and how childrens behaviour in school evolved from ours to Nupurs sons generation and now the many classes of students Nupur teaches. We took a look into a typical work day for Nupur and current teaching methods. How the focus of learning has shifted, the whole interactive and creative push.
Nupur explained current classroom strengths and how that impacts the children and the educators and we contrasted this with the current situation in government schools. Nupur and Prachita shared some of their Parent teacher meeting (PTM) stories and some mischevious children behaviour 😬🤪
Ofcourse we discussed the big C (COVID) and how things changed for the educators and school going children during these times 😧😜 and saught Nupurs views on tuitions.
We went deep dive into parental expectations from kids and the pressures they face today and did some voke conversation around gender parity and explaining & implementing it with young children!
We concluded on some very sweet and cherished moments and memoribilia!
