Everybody's a Critic - Criticism with Blues Musician Mark Hill
As it is said, “everybody’s a critic”; also popular, but less politically correct, is the old adage, “Opinions are like ***holes – everybody has one and they all stink”.
And while everybody is indeed a critic, there are some who are unable to take criticism, whether that is because they were always shielded from it growing up, or are simply very sensitive. However, often time it is the manner of criticism or feedback we receive that affects how we are going to take it. Is the criticism constructive, or helpful? Or is it destructive, just plain mean for the sake of cutting someone down?
On this episode of the Neutral Wisdom Podcast, host Robert Shirley discusses constructive and destructive criticism, and is joined by New Zealander and blues musician Mark Hill.
