Welcome back to the Driven Young podcast and today for the first time on this show I am joined by a stand up comedian, Simon Taylor.
Simon Taylor is a Melbourne-born comedian, who by the age of 24 became a writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in Los Angeles. Since then he has written for Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell on the ABC and Magic for Humans on Netflix.
In this episode we discuss
- What Simon did after highschool
- How he quit his job to pursue his passion
- Why you need to take risks while you're young
- How he built his brand as a comedian
- the future of the workforce
- His number one piece of advice to young people
and so much more. I really enjoyed this episode, Simon and I share very similar views on life which I had no idea about going into this interview. We really drill in one important point this entire episode and I hope you understand that by the end.
