Nessa is the author of Hacking the Code of Life, Epigenetics Revolution, and Junk DNA. We cover all 3 of her books in this fun and lengthy chat is equal parts focused and tangential. Nessa has a PHd in virology, did her post-doctorate in Human Genetics and has also lectured on Molecular Biology.
In this conversation, Nessa is kind enough to walk me through exactly what epigenetics is, what it isn't, and how it impacts all of our lives. From how epigenetics start in the womb and how our physical and emotional environment can also affect our epigenetics throughout our lifetime. Nessa and I had a wonderful time recording this and I hope you enjoy it too!
