Research has found that when you do a "body scan meditation" whilst holding a beloved pet, it decreases anxiety and heart rate and increases positivity. This was more impactful when people were holding a pet than a blanket or a pillow. Of course, you don’t need to hold a pet to try this, let’s talk you through it!
