The Sermon on the Mount is the longest single teaching by Jesus that the Bible records for us, but it’s not a list of the rules that are required for a follower of Christ. The Sermon on the Mount is a painting, by the Divine Artist, of what the posture of the heart of a Christian should look like - which then radically transforms the way we live. The center of that painting, the crescendo, is the Lord’s Prayer. In this sermon, Paul Tripp unpacks the first half of the Lord’s Prayer and what it means to live for the Kingdom of God.
