What an episode we have for you today!
Our guest is the new head women's basketball coach at the University of Mississippi, Yolett McPhee-McCuin. Although when we sat down and talked to her a few weeks ago at the women's Final Four, she was still the head coach at Jacksonville University, where she lead her team to the NCAA tournament.
Then, a few days later, it was announced she was going to be the new head coach at Ole Miss - and, the first black woman to lead the program in the history of the university.
As we talked to this popular coach, speaker and mentor, she opens up about how she found success in her career, what she learned coming up through the ranks, and her advice to assistant coaches building their careers.
For Ole Miss women's basketball fans that might be listening in, you'll get an intimate look at your new head coach as she gets ready to build the program there like she has at the other schools where she's coached.
It's a great conversation with a rising star in the college coaching ranks!
