Todd emphasised the challenges of educating his clients about real threats, the importance of a layered security approach, and the need for adaptability in close protection.
The conversation also covered application or non application of jiu-jitsu in combat, sensory training, and the necessity of realistic law enforcement training. There is a vast difference between combat sports with a referee, and combat with violence.
Todd shared his experiences transitioning from military to entertainment security and his efforts to update SWAT training.
A truly enlightening conversation with a true warrior monk, a man who has gone from a red crayon eating marine , to being able to communicate effectively with, and successfully protect some of the most recognisable names on the planet.
