Doc welcomes Volbeat guitarist, Rob Caggiano, to the show and they talk about how Rob got his start in New York with nu metal band, Boiler Room, why the band breaking up made him focus on producing records, how he hustled to get the gig in Anthrax, his unceremonious exit from Anthrax, which led him to form and thrive with the production team, Scrap 60, rejoining Anthrax and helping develop the Worship Music album, how The Damned Things supergroup came together, eventually leaving Anthrax for good, producing and then almost immediately joining Volbeat, and the two wax philosophical on how songwriting and production have evolved throughout the years.
