One Thing: Listen to wise instruction & teaching, not to sin’s temptation though it’ll be enticing.

Overview:

I. The wisdom of a father

II. The enticement of sinners

- Sin will be enticing (vv. 10-15)

- Sin will lead to death (vv. 15-19)

Applications:

1. Be ready - Anticipate that you will be tempted to sin, and that it will be enticing.

- What are you personally tempted/enticed to do recently?

- What are you personally trying to gain by engaging in that sin?

- What would be the ultimate outcome of that sin?

2. Seek godly wisdom

- From God’s Word

- From God’s people

3. Ask for accountability
