Airman Jack Teixeira was caught taking notes and conducting deep-dive searches for classified material months before he was arrested in May 2023. Despite this, the Air Force allowed him to remain in his job until his arrest. Teixeira has since been charged with espionage and faces up to life in prison if convicted.
