Prop. 6: Abolishing Involuntary Servitude in Prisons

Sep 27, 2024
15:09

The 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution banned slavery and involuntary servitude except as a punishment for convicted crimes. Prop. 6 would amend the state constitution to ban forced labor in prisons.

This episode has been updated to clarify the status of California's volunteer firefighter program.
