One of the common questions parents of children with special needs ask,"How do I know if hyperbarics is working for my child?" In this episode I am speaking with Dr. James Neubrander, MD about special diagnostic forms that allow to measure progress in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for children on autistic spectrum.
Dr. Neubrander is famous for discovering Methyl-B12 treatment for children on autistic spectrum. He is one of the pioneers of hyperbaric oxygen therapy use for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. He has treated more than 4,000 children on the spectrum with 100,000 hrs of hyperbarics and 1.5 million doses of Methyl B-12. Dr. Neubrander developed unique diagnostic protocols that allow parents to document ‘undeniable changes’ from HBOT and Methyl-12 use and know whether these therapies are "working".
In this episode Dr. Neubrander explains how to use a special evaluation form to know whether hyperbarics is working, how to measure progress with any therapy to map future treatments accordingly. We are discussing specific protocols, pressures and number of hyperbaric sessions.
