A further complication is President Trump’s demand that Ukraine sell its rare earth minerals to the US in exchange for continued support, putting the Ukrainians between a rock and a hard place. Meanwhile in Gaza, people were shocked by scenes of Hamas fighters taking pictures with the coffins of dead hostages. Worse still, it’s been reported that the remains in one of the coffins were apparently not of the hostage they said it was, which understandably enraged the Israelis.
