Plight of the Endurance

Ernest Shackleton, along with a crew of 27 men, embarked on a journey to cross Antarctica. However, their ship, the Endurance, became trapped in a massive ice flow, leading to its slow destruction. Despite initial hope, the realization of their dire situation dawned gradually. They hastily set up a camp as the ship succumbed to the pressure of the ice. Stranded in harsh conditions with limited supplies in 1915, the crew faced the daunting reality of potential death.
