Nephilim Death Squad THROWBACK | 019: The Lore Lodge w/ Aiden Mattis
Oct 4, 2026
Aiden Mattis, historian and creator of The Lore Lodge, explores the Nephilim, fallen angels, hybrid bloodlines, demigods, cryptids, and Bigfoot through biblical, historical, and anthropological lenses. The conversation investigates Missing 411 disappearances, Peru’s face-peeler reports, ancient engineering, academic gatekeeping, and the MH370 wormhole theory. Expect skepticism, strange cases, and a willingness to change when evidence demands it.

Episode notes
Why Sasquatch May Be An Unknown Hominid
- Cryptids are reported creatures with folkloric continuity, unlike internet inventions such as the Rake or Fleshgate.
- Sasquatch traditions may preserve memories of an unknown hominid population rather than describing a purely supernatural monster.
Use Science To Investigate Cryptid Legends
- Investigate supernatural reports by asking what real event, animal, or human population could have inspired the story.
- Keep a bridge open between anthropology and folklore, since legends can preserve accurate observations that later become exaggerated.
Why Missing 411 Feels Supernatural
- Missing 411 cases attract paranormal theories because reports emphasize impossible travel distances, delayed discoveries, missing evidence, and unexplained deaths.
- Aiden Mattis argues that “paranormal” may simply describe events whose mechanisms science has not yet explained.
