Darren Evans is the current Stake President of the Bristol, England Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Although this role is a regional leadership role, Darren's views and comments are his own and does not necessarily constitute the official comments of the Church.

I wanted to speak to Darren about the process of being called as a Stake President and to help provide a peek behind the curtain of what this responsibility entails. We've all been there at Stake Conferences when this happens and it's exciting, you can feel the Spirit working in the process and so I loved learning more about it. 

Some highlights from this episode include how Darren was called, how he selected his counsellors, and whether or not he is seeing extraordinary growth in faith in Jesus Christ in the UK.
