This week, Madeline discusses how to recognize when friends are not meant for you, and subsequently….how to cut them off. While Madeline does not believe in ghosting people, she does think that if you are in a situation that is taking too much away from you and proving to be unfulfilling, you need to step away. Madeline admits to going on blocking sprees, removing toxic friends from her life and feeling like everything was over at the time. However, what she found later in life, was that removing these people opened new doors of happiness and opportunity for her.
Madeline also highlights the importance of what it means to be a friend. She believes that friends play an important role in providing emotional support and shares a story of a time that she was extremely grateful for her friends sticking by her and providing her support even when she was in the wrong.
