Why should people care about LTL more than they do?
-
For those who are a little unfamiliar with the LTL world, LTL goods are classified. Typically through their NMFC code. Which basically describes the product, says it should be this class and the rate is charged from there. Finally after decades the NMFTA is moving to a density based classification, do you see this as a move in the right direction/Overall thoughts on the change?
-
LTL as a whole is going through a big overhaul, we’ve got API, dynamic pricing, etc. Where are some quick wins in modernization and process improvement that shippers or carriers could make?
-
Are there any new technologies or solutions that are gaining popularity in the LTL world?
-
How are carriers adapting to changing customer expectations, such as faster delivery times and more visibility into shipments?
-
Have you noticed any changes in pricing or service levels within the LTL market?
-
If you could pick anything to modernize or standardize or even re-invent in the LTL space what would it be?
