A professional snowboarder that split boards for a living, specializing in human powered snowboarding with first descents to his name in Bolivia, India and USA. We talk east coast roots, risk management, micro and macro dosing, winter camping hacks, mountain pooping, volcano shredding, mountain vibes, post traumatic stoke disorder, Petran Boarding, the future of snowboarding and so much more. After years of contests and pursuing his dream to be a top pro and make a living snowboarding Nick realized maybe he was just not as good as some of the top level rider’s and thats when he took a different approach trying out split boarding. It turned out he had a real stylish powder turn and with split boarding blowing up brands needed pro’s to represent this category. Everything came together with Nick carving out his own lane snowboarding how he wanted to allowing him to break the norm and go pro in his thirty’s.
