Too many superproducers and elite performers reach the top and then start thinking they know it all and are invincible and can never be knocked off their lofty perch. And of course, this mentality is the very start of the end.

The moment you think you’re untouchable, you’re in decline.

…The minute you take your success for granted is the time your focus is off iterating your craft, upgrading your game and optimizing the performance that will take you to higher reaches.

..The instant you stop rising early, putting in the practice, investing in your learning, pushing your next level of growth and doing whatever it takes to wow all witnesses (and honor your natural promise) is the day you step onto the path of irrelevance. And obsolescence. And the outright mediocrity that dangerously disrespects the best within you.
