Dr Slemko completed medical school in Calgary, followed by Residency in both Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine in Edmonton, Canada. She is a published author and recently contributed to a chapter in the Textbook of Acute Trauma Care (2022). She is currently completing a MSc degree in Patient Safety and Clinical Human Factors at the University of Edinburgh and works as an Intensivist in the Edmonton Zone.
