We want to know Jesus more— not just in our minds, but in the way we live and love. Help us see the people around us with fresh eyes. Show us new ways to serve, connect, and make a difference. Shape us into people who reflect your love wherever we go. Amen. People: No longer under the law, we may serve one another in love. Leader: God has given us the Spirit, that our lives may be fruitful at his service. People: The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Leader: Let us pray together. People: O God, who has set us free through our Lord Jesus Christ, let your spirit work among us and within each of us during this hour, that we may learn to be more like our Master, who came not to be served but to serve. We act like we know exactly who belongs in your family and who doesn’t, as if your love isn’t wide enough for everyone. Too often, we wait to help others until they look, act, or believe like us. We make room only for those who we think can offer us something in return. Forgive us, Lord. Heal the harm we’ve done. Bring us back into right relationship with those we’ve ignored or pushed away. Shape us into a community where every one of your children is welcomed, included, and deeply loved.
