Dr Paul Maginn is a professor of urban planning/geography at the University of Western Australia. His research focuses on the geography and regulation and of the sex industry, with everything from adult stores, sex work/prostitution and porn. He looks at porn consumption on a city level, and so he talks about the rise of porn in the San Fernando valley, as well as the idea of pornstars as a migrant community.
