This week on 14th & G, our guest Dr. Halena Gazelka is here to share her insight into the Opioids crisis. She is the Chair of the Mayo Clinic Opioid Stewardship Program and Director of Inpatient Pain Services, Division of Pain Medicine. She is an expert in pain management. Dr. Gazelka was recently appointed by the Department of Health and Human Services to serve on the Pain Management Best Practices Inter-Agency Task Force. With both the Senate and the House currently trying to tackle the opioid crisis this is an incredibly timely conversation with Dr. Gazelka.
