Katie is the Founder and School Director of AlcheMe Yoga Therapy, a yoga therapy company that provides professional training, comprehensive clinical programs, research, and community outreach initiatives. She co-founded Be the Change Yoga, a studio and education center. Katie, who directs the Yoga Therapy Program at Hoag Hospital's Center for Healthy Living, is passionate about bringing yoga to underserved communities. She is currently developing a Yoga Promoters Program to train Spanish-speaking students to become yoga teachers in order to spread healthy living practices in various community organizations.
