

Ashley Henderson HFC Jasper-Monticello GA
He is a native of Georgia and attended Valdosta High School. After playing football in high school, Henderson continued his career at Georgia Tech. He later played collegiately at Valdosta State. He began his coaching career at Valdosta State as a graduate assistant for two years and then moved to Valdosta High School where he was an assistant for seven years. In 2012, he accepted the role of associate athletic director and head football coach at Valwood School where he compiled an overall record of 66-12 with five region championships, three state GISA championships (2012, 2015, and 2017) and a state runner-up season in 2013. In 2018, he became head coach at Thomas County Central High School where he led in the rebuilding of the football program. Under his leadership, Henderson took the team from an overall record of 3-7 in 2017 to playoff appearances in 2020 and 2021. He is now the HFC at Jasper County-Monticello. Coach Henderson is one of the "good guys" in the business and I hope you enjoy his story!
