Can you BELIEVE we found Cher in the thrift shop this week?! Cher has been super-famous for a staggering SEVEN decades! She's an omnipresent icon! Hard to imagine that once upon a time nobody knew who she was. Her pre-fame existence and subsequent rise to fame are as interesting and colourful as her enduring career. This was someone destined and determined to make a mark on the world and that's exactly what she went and did ( with a little help from Sonny).
This is a brand new podcast where we discuss and deliberate over memoirs and biographies found in thrift shops. This is a great way to do things as we are not choosing who to read about. We may not be fans of the person, we may never have heard of the person and we never know who we are going to find next...
There are only 2 rules to this podcast. The book has to be found in a thrift shop and we are not allowed to talk about the book until we press record, which is sometimes agonising.
