An opportunistic dwarf named Niam offers to represent them during their time in Ardere, and he reveals a familial bombshell of his own. The group gets their first look at The Steps, and procure lodging on the Seventh Step while attempting to gather intel on how to travel down. A somber procession and an invitation.
