The sad truth is that there are hundreds of thousands of toxins that we’re exposed to on a daily basis. They don’t only make us sick, but our children are particularly vulnerable to them. But it doesn’t have to be this way! My guest today has made it her mission to help inform parents on how they and their families can lead healthy toxin-free lives.
Zen Honeycutt is the founder and director of Moms Across America, a non-profit National Coalition of Unstoppable Moms. With the goal of educating as many people as possible about the dangers of toxins and GMOs in the food supply, she has helped show countless people the solutions to these pervasive problems.
Zen and I talk about having the courage to stand up and challenge the status quo of what we are literally being fed. We discuss the risks inherent in GMO foods and what we should be eating instead.
It’s not enough to just provide healthy food for our families though. We need to make everybody feel like part of the team and show them that love is expressed through healthy choices. Zen shares some great practical advice for how we can truly go organic and the benefits to expect from it.
