Dragons Abounding: The Great Errors Confronting the Church | Voddie Baucham

In this sermon, Dr. Baucham warns the church of the many errors that are abounding and threatening to destroy it. He identifies these errors as:

• Cultural Christianity: This is the belief that simply being a cultural Christian, or someone who identifies as Christian but does not live like a Christian, is enough to be saved.
• The prosperity gospel: This is the belief that God wants to bless us with material wealth and prosperity.
• The seeker-sensitive movement: This is the belief that the church should focus on attracting people to itself, rather than on confronting them with the truth of the gospel.
• The egalitarian movement: This is the belief that men and women are equal in all things, including in the church.
• The social justice movement: This is the belief that the church should focus on addressing social ills, rather than on preaching the gospel.

Voddie argues that these errors are all dangerous to the church because they lead people away from the truth of the gospel. He calls on the church to return to its biblical roots and to be faithful to the message of Christ.
