Our guest moderator, Renuka Iyer, MD, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY, is a medical oncologist and longtime NANETS member, currently serving on its Board of Directors. Dr. Iyer is the Co-Director of Roswell Park's Liver and Pancreas Tumor Center, Section Chief for Gastrointestinal Oncology, Department of Medicine, and Vice Chair of Faculty Recruitment & Retention. She is also Professor of Medicine at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York at Buffalo.s

Dr. Iyer's guests for the episode are Namrata (Neena) Vijayvergia, MD, medical oncologist at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Dr. Vijayvergia is Assistant Chief, Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology, Associate Professor, Department of Hematology/Oncology, and Medical Director, Medical Oncology. She is also an active member of NANETS, where she has served on several committees in leadership roles, including immediate past chair of the Diversity & Membership Committee, past member, Mentoring & Early Career Development Committee, and currently serving on the Scientific Review & Research Committee.

Also joining as a guest is Sandip Patel, MD, Professor of Medical Oncology, University of California San Diego. Dr. Patel focuses on phase 1 immunotherapy trials and thoracic oncology immunotherapy trials. His research focus is on predictive biomarkers for immunotherapeutic response and generation of personalized cancer immunotherapy regimens.
