Information, platforms, access, and ideas have been thrown wide open to anyone with the shrewdness, tact, and ambition to wield them. I’m not saying this is a bad or a good thing, it’s just the way things are moving.No one is taking this harder than the evangelical institutions of the past. Seminaries, Universities, para-church ministries and church networks that were massively influential in the 1990s and early 2000s still have lots of land, money, and reach. But ultimately, despite their millions of dollars and decades long track record, they are rapidly losing influence. Men with no degrees, no pedigree, and minimal funds are capturing the hearts of the next generation of right wing and Christian men because they have what the institutions lack. Courage.
