Ted McGinley is not a great auditioner. He's got dyslexia and the process of presenting for strangers doesn't come naturally to him. But once he has the job, he's golden. His long career is proof enough. He's the guy, for decades, that was brough into a sitcom to pump up a dying series. He did it for Happy Days, Married with Children and The Love Boat.
