Steve Beers
with Sophomores
Rev. Dr. Steve Beers has worked in higher education for four decades, most recently serving as Vice President for Student Development for 26 years prior to his retirement from JBU. He has a B.A. in psychology and Bible, an M.S. in counseling, an Ed.D. in education, and plans to earn a D.Min. in the fall of 2025. His publications include various articles and books, with his most recent being a chapter addressing student anxiety in Stewarding Our Bodies: A Vision for Christian Student Affairs.
