Hirschbein-Bodnar graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2014 with a degree in Political Science and History. During his years as an undergraduate, Eric interned with the school baseball team under Head Coach Jim Foster and specifically under Matt Finlayson, Director of Baseball Operations and former Wave’s President. Eric and Matt Finlayson have established a 7-year strong relationship and Eric considers Finlayson to be his personal and professional mentor.
In addition to his undergraduate degree, Eric completed his Master’s program in Public Administration with a focus on Athletic Administration and Non-Profit Administration at the University of Rhode Island in 2017.
