InnerVerse What Connects Christianity, Tarot & the Stars? Astrotheology 101 with Chance Garton & Meg Moonbeam
What connects Christianity, Tarot, and the stars? In Astrotheology 101, Chance Garton joins Meg Moonbeam to explore the celestial symbolism woven through biblical stories, sacred art, and even familiar nursery rhymes.
Why do a man, an eagle, a bull, and a lion appear around Christ, represent the four evangelists, and occupy the corners of the World and Wheel of Fortune tarot cards? What connects these figures to the fixed signs of the zodiac—and what changes when we begin reading the sky as a language?
This illustrated InnerVerse × Meg Moonbeam swapcast introduces astrotheology through recognizable examples, then follows the connections into mythology, astrology, and Christian symbolism. Chance presents his interpretation of how constellations, seasonal patterns, star names, and wordplay became ingredients in stories passed down through generations.
