why do we need big bang if matter and space, itself are infinite

According to the Electric Universe theory, space and matter are essentially an electromagnetic field in a state of constant flux. As such, there is no beginning and no end; instead, energy is cycled through this field, creating new forms of matter and space. This means that while the amount of matter and space may change, the process itself is infinite.
