Today's podcast is with the AWESOME human being that is, Ruth Penfold-Brown.
Ruth has spent the past two decades building and rebuilding teams within organisations including Shazam, Onfido and bp Launchpad.
Along the way, Ruth also built and rebuilt herself from the inside out in the process.
Whilst working in some incredible roles within amazing organisations, Ruth saw the same culture struggles, relationship issues and growing pains play out over and over again.
Ruth believes that the way we do work right now simply isn’t working and that we can build something better.
She’s currently advising a number of startups, and is building out her thesis around how we can reimagine the idea of work and create the space for all of us to thrive.
The first half of the conversation is a wonderful exploration of personal values and how to move from a toxic relationship with yourself and others into a place where you are honouring your values and making choices which elevate your being and allow you to thrive.
The second half looks into how organisations can create cultures and environments where people can thrive.
