Hashimoto's disease plays into the realm of fitness in terms of weight loss and weight gain, because the thyroid hormone is intricately involved with metabolism. And for many women with Hashimoto's, they're left with a feeling of not being able to control their weight, which can leave them anxious or doubtful about their own successes. So I wanted to bring someone on the podcast who could give a perspective as somebody who has been diagnosed with Hashimoto's and is still able to focus on her fitness. So let's hear Karenin's story.
