It has been 5 years since that day. The day we first destroyed a Mothercrystal and the day that Cid gave his life for his cause. Now, there is a new Cid. However, though 5 years have passed, this new Cid doesn't seem much further along in his goal of freeing the bearers than he was before. In fact, things seem worse than ever.
