Yet, they are the result of mental constructs and subjective in nature. In the West, we are not taught to question the quality or source of our thinking. Instead, we live below the veil of consciousness, and assume, without any critical analysis, that all we think is absolute. This is why humans have the ability to harm one another and why nations find it difficult to get along. The ego does not see, nor does it want to see the big picture. If it did, it would die.  The emotional healing journey is complex, and without the ability to question what you think, how you feel, and how you live your life, you are a slave to the past, and mental constructs and live your life unaware you are unaware.
