Early Days of AWS

The initial phase of AWS between 2006 and 2010 was marked by rapid developments in cloud computing. The launch of the S3 storage service in March 2006 laid the groundwork for future cloud services, while the introduction of EC2 a year later spurred significant growth and demand. Eric Chow, who joined AWS during this time, highlights how networking faced challenges due to increasing server traffic and how the team quickly expanded amid this hypergrowth.
